Next Tuesday I will take you on a field trip to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center museum from 9:30am to 2:30 pm where we will explore slavery, see a real live slave holding pen and earn our American Heritage Girls Freedom Seekers Badge. NATIONAL UNDERGROUND RAILROAD FREEDOM CENTER FIELD TRIP
- Tuesday, March 29th
- Drop off & pick-up @ BUMC parking lot
- 9:30am-2:30pm (possibly 3:30pm or 4:00pm if we aren't done and girls are able to stay later)
- $10 per girl, includes museum's own patch; $12 per adult; reg child admission (no patch) is $8
- WEAR UNIFORM! Or troop tee if you don't have the Explorer Vest
- Bring sack lunch + snack for the ride home
- Pictures not permitted in exhibit halls so cameras are not necessary
