- HELP WANTED! I need 2 moms to join me at every meeting. The more help I get the more I can do with the girls. I'll do all the planning and preparation work, I'm sort of a plan-a-holic so I love that part, I just need help executing the plans. Child care is provided for teachers/assistants so if you have a little one you don't know what to do with...bring them and put them in child care and let them have fun while you have fun! If you can help me please call or email and I'll put you on the list:

- ONE CALL NOW I have registered myself with the One Call Now service the troop also subscribes to so I can afford the time for reminder phone calls with such a large group! If the telephone number you would like me to use is other than the telephone number it calls, please let me know. It is a prerecorded message, but the Caller ID shows my home phone number: 513-734-4711. It will make many attempts if it doesn't reach a person or answering machine so please don't be alarmed when Caller ID shows something like 6 or 7 calls from me. Thanks!
Here is the latest message if you missed it:

SOMETHING FUN TO DO! If you are the least bit computer savvy at all you might want to blog your daughter's AHG progress. (or school or life or whatever, I'm doing multiple blogs, one for AHG one to track my son's Eagle Scout progress...he's only 9! LOL, I intend on doing one for homeschool and one for vacations...you name it I'm going to blog it!) The reason? Two reasons actually #1 reason is so you can journalize her experiences for her and #2 when she becomes a Pioneer (7th grade) she can take the blog over and continue recording her memories as option #19 of the Internet Adventure Badge. There are companies out there that can take all of your blog posts including the pictures and bind them into a hard bound book for you! Talk about the ultimate journal!!!! I've always liked the idea of journalling, and sometimes I start here or there and I love to go back and read the things I've written. I found a journal of Jackie's from the first grade or kindergarten and I absolutely love the spelling, her thoughts, I send the kids to camp with journals and bribe them to write, my son's complaints were HILARIOUS! (such a whiner! LOL) So anyhoo if this sounds like something you'd love to do but you really need help getting started just call me and we can get together and I can show you how at the library. Or my own office if I ever get it cleaned up! (junk rooooommmm.......)
Here is Jackie's AHG blog which also might tell you what I'm working on and what we do at home for extra badges:

On our "links" page you'll find a link to the blogger I use and there is also a site on there where you can find free fun things for blogging like backgrounds and so forth!
